Sonos Speaker System

Another 2010 Christmas gift. I bought this for my girls so they can play whatever, where ever.

I was convinced after seeing it in action after gig we did. Ritchie and Kristen pulled up the most obscure songs I could think of from their iPhone controller.

  1. Room-filling, ear-impressing sound

with 5 speakers powered by 5 dedicated digital amps.

  2. Internet connected for unlimited music

    • Over 25,000 free Internet radio stations
    • Your entire iTunes® library (not just what fits on your iPod®)
    • Millions of songs and stations streaming direct from the Internet
  1. Control with your iPhone or iPod touch

    • Free Sonos Controller for iPhone™ app is a download away
    • Pick a room, find a song and touch play from anywhere
    • Keep your iPhone in your pocket, not stuck in a dock
    • Get a text or a call and the music won’t stop
  2. Simple to set up anywhere you want music

Just plug in the S5* and rock out.

  3. Add more S5s without adding wires

Play the same song in every room or different songs in different rooms.

*To connect to the world of music on the Internet, one ZonePlayer or ZoneBridge™ (sold separately) must be wired to your broadband router. All the rest work wirelessly.

Distant Suns for the iPhone

I have added Distant Suns to my colection of Astronomy apps.
It has a good interface and a huge amount of data and images.
At a price of around $10.00, it by far the best astronomy app I've come accross.

FOXTEL iPhone App

FOXTEL has developed aniPhone App that let's me log into my Foxtel account, search shows and channels, add favourites, and set my Foxtel IQ to record whatever I want remotely. Whilst you can do the same from their website, this is great because I can control my IQ whilst in a queue, or whilst waiting for my kids to get ready.
